Do not enter the surgery if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, are breathless or had contact with a known case of COVID-19.
If you need an appointment with the surgery, please ring the surgery and we will give you a telephone appointment with a GP, Nurse, or another appropriate clinician. A clinician will phone you back and assess your needs and help you over the phone. They will only ask you to come down to the surgery if they feel it is necessary. This action has been taken in the interest of patient safety.
We will still be offering the following appointments face to face. Please phone the surgery for an appointment. Please note if you or your baby are unwell or have been within 14 days of your appointment date ring to postpone your appointment:
- Urgent blood tests (e.g methotrexate monitoring, bloods required prior to an urgent hospital referral, those in relation to cancer treatment or warfarin monitoring)
- Dressings or wound checks
- Childhood immunisations
- Adult injections ie B12, whooping cough
- Non-routine smears
- Post-natal checks will be done at the same time as your appointment for your baby’s 8 week immunisations
- Ante-natal
We thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
